DO NOT HANDLE THE GLASS PORTION OF THE STROBE TUBE! This will inhibit the ability of the xenon gas inside the tube to properly energize, thus brightness will decrease and the life of the tube will diminish. ALWAYS HANDLE THE STROBE TUBE BY ITS BASE. WARNING After shutting off all power to the strobe device, allow five (5) minutes for the stored energy to dissipate. After waiting for five minutes, disassemble the strobe device in accordance with the instructions supplied with the device. Grasp the base of the old strobe tube and pull up firmly, or carefully pry the base from the socket with a small blade screwdriver. Install the new strobe tube. |
